DTN COMMENTS:  Some light trade is being reported in parts of the South 
this morning at $201, roughly steady with last week's weighted average in 
Kansas, but $1 higher in Texas. Current asking prices are around $201 to 
$205 in the South, but they are still not established in the North. 
Significant trade volume may possibly be delayed until sometime Thursday 
or Friday. 

Beef cutouts are mixed at midday (choice 334.41 +1.43, select 317.26 -
1.45) with light to moderate box movement (49.21 lds of choice cuts, 
17.13 lds of select cuts, 0.00 lds of trim, and 9.76 lds of ground). Live 
cattle contracts are mostly moderately higher at midday, while feeder 
issues are mixed, mostly higher near the top of the noon hour.
